Avtenta.si has Obtained the Official Certificate of the Accreditation of the Sihramba.eu Service

Last Wednesday, the Archives of the Republic of Slovenia awarded Avtenta.si, d.o.o. the accreditation for the service of e-storage for documentary and archive materials in digital form (sihramba.eu). The plaque was accepted by Iztok Klančnik, CEO of the company, at the conference entitled The Technical and Field-Related Problems of Traditional and Electronic Archiving, taking place in Radenci from 25 to 27 March 2009.

The accreditation, awarded by the Archives of the Republic of Slovenia, stands as formal proof that Avtenta.si performs all the procedures connected to the long-term storage of electronic material in accordance with the previously certified internal rules.

Within the framework of the accreditation, a detailed audit inspection of the service operation was performed, comprising all the related procedures in the company, as well as the hardware, software and system spaces. Avtenta.si thus became the first company in Slovenia, along with Pošta Slovenije, to have a formally certified conformity of the e-storage of digital material service.

With the accreditation, Avtenta.si meets the required conditions in the archive legislation (The Protection of Documents and Archives and Archival Institutions Act – ZVDAGA) for providing the service of the long-term electronic storage of documentary material to the entire Public Administration while, in the economic sphere, the accreditation is an example of good practice in performing the service.
