What is ITIL?

ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) is a set of references and best practices that direct the organisation toward “IT Service Management”, based on and in accordance with business demands, strategy and goals of the organisation. It defines the processes that help organisations with management of IT infrastructure. ITIL is designed on the basis of the experiences of organisations throughout the world, striving to reach their business goals by means of “IT Service Management”.
